Pier
Our pier features multiple fishing areas with a shed at the outer tee. The shed has a mini fridge, as well as a heater for cold weather fishing. There are several bait tables with sinks and running water for cleaning the catch of the day. A shed with a freezer stocked with frozen bait is available to members as is another refrigerator/freezer for the member’s bait storage. The pier is well lit and set up for night fishing .
Main club room
Newly air conditioned, the club room offers seating areas for watching television, eating, card playing. All general membership meetings are held there. Crab night, a major social event seats almost 50 for a sit down dinner. The room is used for lunch for fishing club members who participate in the 5 seasonal fishing contests. It’s a great room just to meet friends and hang out.
Kitchen
At the very heart of the clubhouse, the kitchen is where members meet before fishing. Before contests, the club brings in bagels and cream cheese spreads for all members who wish to participate. There is a full size refrigerator and stove. The kitchen also has a mini fridge which has water and soft drinks for purchase and the snacks to go with them.
Bait And Tackle Shop
Every lure or rig you need for the fish we catch is available for sale in our shop. These lures are all made by one of our members and are priced for sale at less than ½ of what would be sold anywhere else. The shop is set up not to make a profit, but simply to be a convenience to our members The shop also sells hats, shirts and jackets with the Anglers Club logo all at our cost.
Tool And Storage Room
We have an enormous tool room because the members maintain the physical plant ourselves whenever we can. Over the years we have saved many thousands of dollars by doing the work that needs to be done. We also buy supplies in bulk to save money.
Locker Room
The clubhouse has 122 lockers for our members. This means that when our members want to fish, everything they need is waiting at the club for them. No lugging equipment from home to pier.
Shed for beach chairs
We maintain a shed for member’s beach chairs so those who desire do not have to carry their chairs from their homes to the beach. We have a rope with a hook so the chairs can be directly lowered to the beach.
Fishing Huts
Need s break from the sun and the fish? We have two fishing huts that members can enjoy at their leisure.
